Adding something like a Rep bar,so you can add positive or negative rep to users in posts.

Sounds good... I'm interested what everybody else thinks about this though...

Well, being able to give negative marks have always tended to be abused in many, if not most, forums I've been at. There is an addon for many forums I like better, it allows people to click "Thank you" on a post and then people get reputation from that instead.

Well this is a nice and friendly community :D I don't believe that anyone would be abusing the ability to rate someone's comment.

Totally of-topic, thanks for the invite for the DRR guild!

All niche communities like DRR start off nice and polite I have found, but eventually they tend to grow (or stagnate - I think of us as a growing community) - and with growth comes... well.. the 'special' folks.

A forum I've been to for a few years now has that feature. It shows how many thanked posts you have, and how many thanks you've given out. I like that a lot better than the possibility to do + and - ratings. :)

Lets just say that for now, no.
With 32 members (9 of whom can be ignored due to low/no post count or being staff) there is no need to add a post rating system.
Making modifications to the board is not a plug and play system, it requires editing the database and a decent number of backend files, most of which are not edit-friendly.

Since this site doesn't pay my bills it falls a little bit lower then things that do, therefor I fail to see the point in adding a karma system.

That said, if more people join I will certainly see about adding a karma/post rating system.
At the moment I haven't seen exactly a flood of people from dungeon runners/facebook etc...

Not that much since I already had a server, don't worry about it.

We never had secret rules on 4. At least if we did, I never heard about them in the 1.5 years I played on that world.

Are you sure you're not thinking of 7...?
